Private Search Engines that dont't track you

In this post we will be discussing about 'Private Search Engines' that will not track you like Google. As far as Incognito mode (In-Private Browsing) on your regular browsing is concerned, they will not give you the level of privacy which you want.


Your internet service provider still has a list of all the websites you visited or all the searches you have made. Whereas Private Search Engines are the search engines that do not store your queries or track your steps on the internet thus they do not have anything to share.

1. Startpage

Startpage by Ixquick does not collect or share personal information. When you search with StartPage the Web results are generated by Google. Thus the combination of these two features is what makes StartPage so special. It allows users to surf web with complete privacy, thus you can browse websites safely and anonymously, without passing on any private, personally identifiable information to the websites.


2. DuckDuckGo

DuckDuckGo is one of the finest and most secure search engines that never tracks your searches. According to DuckDuckGo, they don't track you. Whatever you search for is your own business and we'd like it that way. That's why we don't collect any personal information and therefore, have none to share.


3. Lukol

Lukol doesn't go as far as DuckDuckGo and StartPage is concerned but it also serves the purpose of Safe search. Lukol does not track or share personal information. They do not record your IP address, browser data or operating system. They tunnel the search through their proxy servers without exposing the search data.


4. Hulbee

Hulbee.com is the efficient alternative for anyone who attaches great importance to data integrity and the protection of privacy. It does not store or transmit any of the personal information. They do not collect IP address or the data.
